Do you want to be part of a Handpan Guinness World Record?‼️�Our Sew Handpan School NYC has been invited by the Copenhagen Handpan School to join their attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the largest number of handpan players performing together!

The big day is May 3, 2025, and the event will be streamed live, connecting many handpan communities across the globe!

The best part?�You don’t need to be a pro to participate — just bring your love for handpan, your instrument, and your good vibes!

Here’s what you need to know:

Date: Saturday, May 3, 2025�Time to arrive: 9:00 AM (New York time)�Location: 1126 Olympia Blvd, Staten Island, NY 10306�What to wear: Your Sew Handpan School T-shirt (if you have one!)�Live stream starts: 9:45 AM (New York time)�We play together: 10:00 AM (New York time) / 16:00 CET

Don’t have a handpan but want to join?�No worries — handpans can be provided based on availability, so please let us know in advance if you need one.

We’ll gather, warm up, and rehearse the melody together before we go live. The melody will also be shared ahead of time in a special WhatsApp group created for all participants.
